Marie's review
Personally I think the forum was a great experience for me. It was a good opportunity for us to improve our English, because we had to speak English the whole day.

We met a lot of new people from all over Europe, like Estonians, Germans, Swedes, Hungarians and many more, as well as a lot of other students from Luxembourg

Our guests were British students. We had a lot of fun with them, especially when pub crawling.

On Monday, reporter Kate Adie from the BBC gave us a talk about the media, which made a great impression on all of us. In my opinion Ms Adie has a strong personality. Her speech impressed me so much that I was completely in awe. She has travelled around the whole world and these experiences have had a defining impact on her character.

The speech by Paul Lesch was also amazing. He reminded us not to forget about how images on TV or in the written press can be super-imposed.

Every day we took part in workshops, for instance debating, press, African dance or Jhembe. I took part in a discussion workshop where we exchanged views on the main topic of the forum i.e. THE MEDIA. I really enjoyed the performance of the African Dance group, because they were so involved.

All in all we learned that the media can become a danger if users do not remain critical, but it is still important to watch TV or read newspapers.

There is no doubt that we had a lot of fun together. The Forum was an unforgettable experience for all of us.
